Many products from our shop have various seals and certificates. Here you can find out exactly what they mean.
ORGANIC
Organic means nothing other than that this product was made from organic cotton. Organic cotton is grown in a truly sustainable way. It is grown and bred according to strict organic farming standards. In contrast to conventional cotton cultivation, the use of chemical pesticides, fertilizers and genetically modified plants is prohibited. In addition, organic cotton is grown alternately with other plant species to preserve nutrients in the soil. Organic cotton uses approx. 91% less water and 70% less influence on soil acidification than normal cotton.
OEKO-TEX
If a textile item carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be sure that all components, i.e. all threads, buttons and accessories, have been tested for harmful substances and are therefore harmless to health.

PETA – Approved Vegan
The “PETA – Approved Vegan” logo allows companies that sell clothing, accessories, furniture or home decor to highlight their vegan offerings. Things like fur, leather, wool, down, silk and animal testing are completely avoided in production here.

WRAP
WRAP stands for Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production. It is a globally recognized, independent certification for the clothing/textile, footwear and sewing industry. The program monitors and certifies production under legal, humane and ethical conditions. Companies with the WRAP certificate show commitment to fair working conditions, environmental protection and compliance with customs regulations and safety standards.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)
Das GOTS-Siegel garantiert strenge Umwelt-Kriterien und Sozialstandards - vom An- und Abbau der Rohmaterialien, über die Veredelungsprozesse (z.B. GOTS ist der weltweit führende Textilverarbeitungsstandard für Bio-Fasern. Als unabhängige Non-Profit-Organisation bezieht er ökologische und soziale Kriterien bei der Herstellung von Textilien mit ein. Dabei unterliegt die gesamte textile Lieferkette einem unabhängigen sowie transparenten Zertifizierungsprozess.
