Certificates
Many products from our shop are labelled with various seals and
Certificates. Find out exactly what they mean here.
Organic
Organic simply means that this product was made from organic cotton. Organic cotton is grown in a truly sustainable manner. It is cultivated and bred according to strict organic farming guidelines. Unlike conventional cotton farming, the use of chemical pesticides, fertilizers, and genetically modified crops is prohibited. Furthermore, organic cotton is grown in rotation with other crops to preserve nutrients in the soil. Organic cotton uses approximately 91% less water and has 70% less impact on soil acidification than regular cotton.
